Oracle Assets uses the Account Generator to generate accounting flexfield combinations for journal entries. You must review the default process that Oracle Assets uses to see if it meets your accounting requirements. You can optionally customize the Account Generator for each set of books that you have defined. See: Using the Account Generator in Oracle Assets. Note that you must set up Oracle Workflow in order to use the Account Generator.
